The HP OneShred models 8CC and 12CC are compact cross-cut document shredders for household and home office use that securely destroy sensitive documents in accordance with DIN 66399 security level P-4. Both shred paper, credit cards, paper clips and staples at a cutting speed of 1.8 meters per minute and feature auto start/stop, overheat and overload indicators and an anti-paper jam function with automatic reverse. The HP OneShred 8CC works with a particle size of 5 x 18 millimeters, takes up to 8 sheets per pass, runs for up to four minutes at a time and then requires a cool-down period. Its 15-liter collection bin with viewing window can be emptied simply by lifting the cutting head; the operating noise is around 68 decibels, the device is lightweight and easy to position thanks to its compact dimensions. The HP OneShred 12CC cuts into 4 x 35 millimeter particles, processes up to 12 sheets per pass, runs for up to six minutes at a time and then cools down. It has a larger 23-liter container with a viewing window and operates more quietly at around 65 decibels. Both shredders have a feed width for A4 documents, do not require castors and are therefore easy to carry despite their fixed standing position.
